Cambodia, located in Indochina peninsula is the geographical
center of Asia, and is neighbored by Vietnam, Laos,
Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and more.
NLWV prays and dreams that WTCS in Cambodia, which is
thoroughly reformed in theology, shall become the bridgehead
for evangelizing the whole region of Asia. There are many
Christian young men and women in other Asian countries
neighboring Cambodia, who can be attracted by the seminary
for their theological study, and they can all be used by the
Lord to spread his amazing gospel all over Asia. Therefore,
all classes at the seminary are conducted in English,
expecting to make it an international school and to make all
its graduates capable of working effectively in the global
community in the future.
Through the training at WTCS, faithful and zealous pastors
and church leaders shall be brought up and they will plant
numerous churches and seminaries wherever they go. Some
graduates shall go back to their home towns in their
countries to establish and run theological institutes to
bring forth more pastors and church leaders who are to honor
the Word and proclaim the gospel to the glory of God.
As a matter of fact, WTCS has already become an
international institute, comprising its students of many
different nationalities: Cambodian, Chinese, Indian,
Laotian, Myanmese, Korean, and Philippine. There are several
students who have shared the dream with NLWV and have
expressed to go back to their own countries to establish
theological institutes similar to WTCS. NLWV is committed to
support them in every possible way from theological
consulting to financial support. This is to expand HIS
Kingdom to Cambodia, China, India, Myanmar, all over in
Asia, and beyond. This is what NLWV prays for and looks
forward to seeing. We give thanks to the LORD for the
firstfruit of it, Sikkim Pastoral Leadership Education
Instutue (SPLEI) in India operated by Rev. Atoka Swu and
initiated and founded by Rev. David Yuhan of New Life World
Vision.
